Default 2003 LS430 Replace Parking Sensors Without Removing Bumper?

Hello,

When I bought my LS430 a couple of the parking sensors were missing. There is one in the front right corner and one in the back right corner. God only knows why, but I want to put some new ones in. Is there any way to do this other than removing the bumpers? If I have to remove the bumpers has someone done this before? Complicated?

Thanks!

Nearly impossible to do it with the cover on. Best to remove the bumpers.

Is it a big job to get the cover off?

Also for the front corner sensor, I think you can get to it through the black wheel well cover. Unfortunately for the rear bumper, I don't believe you can get to the sensors without taking the bumper cover off.
Awesome thanks for the drawings. I'll see if I can sneak the front sensor in there without removing the bumper as its on the corner.

For the rear bumper, I'll save that for a rainy day!

Hi:

Any chance that you still have the drawing of the rear bumper cover removal. I need a drawing to locate the fasteners. Thanks.

Has anyone removed the rear bumper? How difficult is it and any DIY tips/procedure?

I am having my rear sensors on my 04 ls430 replace. Are they plug-and-play or do they need to be calibrated after installation?
