Remember slick 50, slick way to bilk ya of 50 bucks. The 75 rabbits where mosquito foggers. Then they put that engine in the Omni and Horizon. Many cars back then were just rust buckets in the rust belt.

Default hi only 2 things

necessary mobil 1 extended performance oil, good oil filter regular for under 7k changes synthetic if over 7k, and chevron techron fuel system cleaner, not the fuel injector cleaner every 3-4k..
use shell or chevron gas and 99 percent of all issues with o2 sensors fuel injector problems and motor issues will be non existent
safe travels

i tend to agree with this. i have three vehicles--the LS, an Inifiniti g37, Toy Sienna...i change dino oil on all three anywhere from 4 to 5k miles. None consume oil between changes, but the oil coming out of the LS is noticeably cleaner, much more clear and light colored than the other two. And the LS has far more city driving than the other two, which you would think would be harder on the oil.

i can't explain why the LS oil would appear so much cleaner.

Higher quality engine parts that allow less blowby. (when the explosion that occurs in your engine's combustion chamber causes fuel, air and moisture to be forced past the rings into the crankcase. Your engine's rings must maintain an excellent fit in order to contain the pressure.)

All cars use oil. All cars have combustion by-pass into the oil. All engines are made of metal and thus will show wear metal particulate in an oil analysis. It may be true that the LS430 has been engineered to a higher tolerance so these issues are minimized, but that doesn't preclude a reason to use or not use a product like Zmax.

There's still benefits to be had. Is it magic or something you can't live without? No of course not. But it is a good product. In the aircraft world, the stuff is considered a very worthy product for a multitude of reasons. But with all things, research and then decide.

Default the less

you put in additives the better
it has nothing to do w aircraft industry.. techron is proven to be the best with no side effects and thats the reason i don't mess w lucas fuel treatment even with lucas good reputation my ls has 150 k and doesn't burn a drop of oil, i minimize additives and use the best products, for the money
again if you use a synthetic oil and go over 7500 just use a synthetic filter.
techron fuel system cleaner every 4k
your golden

Mobil 1 was used in gas turbine engines long before they were used in automotibles.
