Default A Lernaean Hydra of a car

Sometimes I honestly think my LS is making fun of me.

I finally found a great 8" sub at 8Ohm, took out the crappy 4Ohm my dad put when he first bought the car (and was often tripping the amp cut-off). Funny thing is I found it at a local electronics store in my hometown in Greece, and it was basically a home-audio speaker since 8Ohm ones are unicorns in car audio as it seems. Price a cool 20$

Anyway, flew back to Zurich, and first thing I did after relaxing for a couple of hours was to do the installation. FInished, cranked up the volume and the thing works perfectly. Bass is there, sounds great and is filling nicely the lower frequencies and the volume can go high enough for my standards (don't really care for loud-loud).

And then I realised the front right speaker started rattling. FML...

Everytime I fix something, something else pops up. At least it's minor incoveniences and not expensive mechanical problems... So I've got that going on for me which is nice

Know that feeling. Just got a new sub in and I plan on doing a refoam of my front door speakers.

Happens every time.

Fixed the radiator, the water pump started leaking. Fixed the B1S2 O2 sensor and after a while the B1S1 went bad. I now fixed the sub and the front speaker went bad. And to add insult to injury, it's the passenger side; I already planned to take out the driver's side door panel to fix the dropping pocket...

I'm honestly scared of fixing something else, in case the next thing that gets jinxed is expensive
