Default Aim lights up or down?

Hey guys check out these 2 pics and tell me what you think.

Recently I lowered the driver side low beam as it was way to high. I think I have to bring it down a tad more. That part is easy.

My other question is do I bring up the driver side DRL , or bring down the passenger side DRL ?

Wish I had a factory height to go by.

Drivers side up. The DRLs are the high beams running at 6v. Can't really tell from the picture if your height is correct. Looks a little high on the low beams but it's hard to tell. As long as people are not flashing you at night you should be close.

Is it easy to adjust the low beams? I had installed Philips HID on the drivers side and now it looks low compared to the passenger side that uses the OEM Sylvania bulb. Thanks

Here are the headlights aiming instructions taken from the 2004 LS430 Repair Manuals.

As Lavrishevo pointed out, the Daylight Running Light is just your high beam light burning at reduced voltage.

Looking at the pictures you posted above, it seems that your low beam lights are pointed at the same height but your high beam lights are not. Each LS430 headlight assembly comes with a connecting rod (with a gear on each end) to allow you to adjust both high and low beam lights concurrently. In your case it appears that one or both headlight assembly whose high and low beams are misaligned.

To correct the misalignment, you'll need to remove the connecting rod and aim the high and low beam separately. Once you're happy with their aim, you can reinstall the connecting rod so you can adjust both together as a set in the future.

The connecting rod (shown as dashes in picture below) is hidden behind the plastic cover that encloses the 10mm "Aiming screw A". You'll have to remove this plastic cover to access this connecting rod.
