IS-F wheels on 02' LS430?
Hey all I had a question. I'm interested in some new wheels for my Ls430. It has the factory 16" chrome wheels which I think are ugly.. I put new tires on them not to long ago. Wheels are all pitted and chrome is flaking.. I was thinking of getting alloy wheels for winter here on the east coast. Also I was thinking of getting these IS-F WHEELS for spring /summer going forward. They have the same bolt pattern (5x114.3), just bigger wheels than factory... I know my car weighs more than the IS-F,but will these wheels hold up on my car.. I've seen these wheels in black, chrome, and silver...
Thanks for any & all info
Btw, my car is white

The IS-F wheels will hold up fine but you will need spacers for the front wheels as they WILL NOT clear your front brakes. I verified this fact personally. I had two sets of IS-F wheels and was planning on using four front wheels on my 2004 LS430. Once I realized that the IS-F wheels wouldn't clear the brakes I sold both sets.

Have your stock wheels sand blasted clean and then commercially powder coated in a nice color. Get the right color and they will look great.
The chrome comes off on almost all of them. Kind of a problem with chrome on aluminum. Powder coating is better and lasts longer especially if you don't run the wheels into a curb.
