Default Buzzing Sound

I get this short comes and goes sound from the rear of the LS. It almost sounds like crickets on a quiet night but very faint. It continues when I stop, the car rarely lasts more than 5 seconds and can happen some days and not others. Any ideas, where is fuel pump? Thanks againWarm

I was once puzzled by a sound when turning off the car but it turned out to be the oscillating vents moving towards their "resting" position. I have also heard some other kind of buzzing from the rear of the car after turning it off. It seemed to happen more in the cold weather.

No idea where the fuel pump is but is the noise there only when the car is running? Is the noise there when the car is in the ignition 1 or 2 position (electronics all powered up, etc). Is the noise there when the radio is turned off? Is the noise there when the a/c & fans are off? Which model LS do you have? Don't you hate your questions answered with questions? you don't have to answer that one

It turned out to be the console lid, which is loose, causing some inturruption of the air flow to the rear climate control. Also the front vents will have irregular airflow when I move the armrest for and aft. Will look at it this weekend and tighten her down. Thanks for yur help.
