Default New to me LS430 (pictures included)

Hi all,

I recently purchased an LS430 and wanted to share with you guys some pictures I took of it. It is a 2005 Moonlight Pearl equipped with the Modern Luxury package and has 75k miles. This car rides like a dream! It is everything I expected and more--from the supple, comfortable interior, to the quietness of the cabin, and etc. Anyway, without further ado, onto the pictures as promised:

Thanks for looking.

Thanks! I, too, love the color! As for plans, I am considering a subtle rear lip spoiler to give the car a touch of sportiness.

Thank you! I hadn't taken a panning shot in a while, so I was a bit rusty with my technique, but I thought that particular shot came out decent.

Thanks BPPT, great job with the camera.

Do you know if those are OEM wheels?

Thank you for the kind words!

As far as I know, they are OEM. The Lexus dealership that I got the car from reconditioned the wheels. I checked the wheels to be sure and sure enough they have the JWL stamped on them. Just out of curiosity, what made you think otherwise? The only thing I can think of is the color of the wheels; I noticed they have a darker, almost gunmetal look to them compared to a lot of stock 18's I've seen that are more of a standard aluminum silver.

Thanks! The previous owner really took care of the car and it shows. I intend to do the same to the best of my ability.

Nice find. You will enjoy that for years. Need to tint those windows for sure.

Hey PBBT- Yes, same reason as you. The color is slightly more gunmetal.

Also, wasn't sure if the design matched your car's year. Outside of 2001-2003, I'm not savvy on the wheel types by year. Maybe if you scan Ebay motors for the same model year, see how the large pictures on Ebay compare to your nice ride. Usually a few close-ups of wheels/tires.

Again, nice rig. Definitely not a Minnesota car!

Thank you so very much. I plan to keep the car for a very long time, as I know these cars are built to last. And yes, I plan to get it tinted. I just need to decide on a percentage.

Thanks again for the heads up and kind words. I looked at some pictures of LS430s online and the wheels appear to be the same aside from the paint.

And no, it's not a Minnesota car; it's actually an Illinois car, haha. I had the undercarriage/chassis checked at a local Lexus dealership and there was no significant rust; just some benign surface rust.
