18 is a good number to replace the vehicle, i can't believe i am going to say this but i will do it not knowing about realibiltiy... i would take the 18 and i just saw the 15 genesis i would put the 18 down and you own a 15 genesis with the v-6 for around 39500. tremendous value for what i saw, also a bump of around 10% in gas savings
i am starting to think the days of our tremendous engineering feat to get us to around 20mpg days are over based on gas costs moving forward. obviously for low mileage doesn't apply but i put on 30k a year
cheers hope your feeling good
Well I've decided the worst thing I can do is to finance a depreciating asset. Soooooo (wish me well cause I'm new at this and nervous ) I bought a replacement car in cash and am using the rest to venture in Realestate. Using money to make money, and then use the profits to buy my depreciating assets. I'll let u know how it goes. All advice is welcomed!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this interior!!! I like it so much better than the black. I am genuinely suprised because I was dead set on not liking this light gray. The light gray interior when sitting in the back passenger seat is as bejeweled as quartz !!!!!!!!

Good luck with yer real estate venture . I'm a real estate agent with Keller Williams here in VA where even the whole 18 grand doesn't get you very far for a down payment and closing costs Sounds like you made out like a bandit tho. That car was probably only worth 11-12 grand at the most with almost 200k miles on it.

I just recently (a few months ago) sold my mom's 2000 Honda Accord V6 with 56,000 miles for $6,500.

I tried pricing a 2015 Genesis on line and after adding Nav it shot up to 50K. I remember a few years back getting an absolutely loaded Genesis V8 for 37,000. The prices on all new cars is crazy. Loaded Kias are in the 30s.

sticker on the the 3.8 v6 loaded not the ultimate package is 39,500 sticker napoleon in fl has a 3500 over stiver
in three months you will be able to buy a nav v-6 for 38
in my opinion i am not a huge hyundai fan, its the best value for the dollar
i think we all need to rethink v-6 and v-8 ownership moving forward with the gas situation the days of 20mpg are over so maybe my genesis speak was not thought out,
probably a 528i if it had a 45 k price would be the perfect car in the meantime our ls430 are the best automobile ever made and boca trip were lucky to have j and m around the corner
safe driving

Seriously, $18k seems insanely high! That's got to be $5k over KBB. You must be a fantastic negotiator.

Thanks! I've been told that I am a great negotiator. (so hopefully I'll do pretty well in my real estate venture).

With taxes, it came to $19,500+? It had almost 200k, but honestly that interior was literally showroom condition. I also took excellent care of it, despite the mileage I was strict on making sure that the Lexus dealer was the ONLY one that touched it. Yes I know the dealership is high, but you'd be suprised how much you can save when u do your homework, price shop and negotiate.
