I get the reflections on my 02 LS430 with 35% tint. I don't get it on my 05 which has 5% and 35% on the front windshield.
Thanks for the info Kira X. Do you happen to know the product and series tint you have for your 02 with the 35%? Do you find the reflections on your mirrors more noticeable at certain times of day when the sunlight is at different angles? How long did it take you to get used to it? I find the shiny wood around the a/c vent to be the biggest distraction at times.

seeing some of these black cars looking so clean makes me realize even more , how badly i need a garage . My black car never looks clean except for right after I am done cleaning it. I did just buy a shelter logic 10x20 portable garage tho , it will have to work for now till we buy a house with a garage.

Wow, that looks pretty cool. How hard is it to see at night?

It makes me want to put another layer of 5% on the rears.

You're welcome!

I don't know much about the tint on the 02. I actually just bought the car off of my neighbor a little over a month ago and it came like that. It seems to be noticeable all the time. I even see the reflection at night sometimes. It's been driving me crazy because I can't see out my passenger front window half of the time because of the reflection.

I'm thinking about tinting the windshield with a really light tint and hoping that helps with the reflection.

Thank you!

Unfortunately it's not the K-Break front grille. It was actually a matte black JDM grille that I had my friend repaint gloss black. I also traded for a stock grille with the emblem and had him repaint that one gloss black as well. I call it the custom Kira front grille.

I just can't decide which grille I like better.

I just had 35 percent tint installed today. Did the 3m film. Looks very nice and not too dark to draw cop's attention. Also had my b pillars wrapped in gloss black since the drivers side was showing their age. Total cost was just under 300.00

I'm about to do an order for the k break grille and Toyota Japan front lip and trying to decide what checklist spoiler I want. Thanks for the info kira

That's not a bad price. 3M is good stuff.

I've always wanted to see the K-Break grille in person. Where did you find the Toyota Japan front lip? I wanted to get that and the rear lip eventually.

L tuned has the celsior japan front, rear and side skirts listed on their site. Not cheap by any means but nothing is these days lol. I'm just worried on the wait time.

Yes I believe it's the 3m color stable in 35% when I picked it off the samples on the wall.
