Wink Show me you tints

I'm getting tint this weekend and am trying to decide how dark to go. My previous cars have had 15 and 20% tints. Post pics of your cars and what percentage tint you have.

As of now I'm leaning toward 15%.

It depends on your interior color. Light interiors will need 15% to be dark. Black interior and you can do something like 35% with it still looking fairly dark.

Mine came from FL so it had 20% when I bought it. White with gray interior. I think it's plenty dark

Sure that isn't 15%? Looks darker than 20.

I have a sunshade on my windshield so it's not letting any light in the picture. Looks darker than it is

Show me you tints-image.jpg5% all around(measures 4% on police equipment), and 50% blue on the windshield.

Interior is gray, and as mentioned the darker your interior, the darker your tint will appear.

Partly because I live in arizona. I've had 5% on every single car I've ever owned, back to when I was 15. Mostly, when I get pulled over, I roll all windows all the way down as a safety courtesy. Only time I've ever had tint mentioned was when I didn't roll my passenger window down and he came up to that window, and he just scanned it(thats how I know it's 4%). I've never had anyone care, also might have something to do with me mentioning my concealed weapon(s) prior to being asked, again showing an effort to acknowledge officer safety. If cops are relaxed, you'd be surprised what they'll let slide.

On the other hand... It's not the best idea, and can cause other issues, but you have zero responsibility to self-incriminate(comply if officer asks to roll window up, decline instead).

I used to have 15% on a black on tan car and it was DARK. I never had issues but my now ex-wife got pulled over for it once - no ticket though. Guess its luck of the draw...

35% all the way around. In my opinion, 30-40% looks classier then dark tints. Less issues with tickets too.
