2001 LS 430 - Target Price
What do you think is a target price for a well maintained 2001 LS with 140k miles. All work has been done to date. Will probably need new O2 sensors but major 90k and 120k services have been performed. Regular Lexus service records.
LCA bushings and strut work may need to be performed along with tie rods.
Options are Nav + heated seats. No rear sunshade or any other major options.
What do you think is the best target price to offer for such a car? I read a recent post of a 2005 UL with 130k miles going for around 11.5k.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

the 04-06's will sell for a much higher price then the 01-03's for obvious reasons.
Here in Canada I think LS's sell for cheaper then in the states ,(which is odd), I see cars like yours advertised for well under $10k, but I really don't think they sell for that much, we got a few low mileage 01-03's here on the market for around $10k and no one is buying them.(again quite odd)
Anytime an 04-06 comes on the market its sold within a few days literally.
I would start at $8000 - $9000 or so and go from there.

yup - I'm with ***** @ $8-9K
You shouldn't have as much competition for the 01-03's as well. If I was in the market for an 01-03 I would take a closer look at this one (local for me):

$8-$9K sounds about right, but once again service records will dictate the ultimate value. As our cars are starting to change hands to the 3rd and 4th owner, maintenance may start to be neglected and these cars should be avoided.
