Default front fenders.....roll/ trim question

Ok, having had many GS' over the years I know the general thought is trim the rears, roll the fronts. Ive never had to touch the fronts on my gs due to offsets.

I gotta do something with the LS fronts so I can go a bit lower.l I trimmed the rears already, no issue there. Everyone I know that has a Lexus, or has tried to roll a Lexus fender has told me the paint will crack when doing it. On the other side, if you trim you then lose the structural integrity, and if you do hit it on a turn you will bend the **** out of the fender.

What is everyone doing......and if you are rolling are you cracking the paint?

I heard you can roll the fronts, the backs you can't though due to some double wall quarter panels. I heard you could, mine aren't, I just trimmed my rears also, maybe add come negative camber to the fronts, they don't look that aggressive.

yeah, its not stupid aggressive, 20x9 +29 with a 225/35 tire. Looking at it I didnt think I would need to touch the fronts at all. Turning into my driveway with the wheel turned and dipping onto the entrance it pushes the tire onto the fender. I had the black strips on there still, and the first time in I tore the drivers one off, luckily didnt bend the fender along with it.

Camber would probably solve the issue, I dont need much room, just a about an 1/8" or so more

I rolled and slightly pulled my rears, I hated it but once u buy the wheels your in too deep to go back.

Yes it does crack the paint , but only on the very edge and underneath where u don't really see it .

The problem with mine is I get rippling in the metal , so I need to work on that now.

I still need to roll my fronts , they rub very slightly

From what I was told the rears will ripple regardless due to the "dual wall" on the rears. The front I do not think have that issue, take it into -1 degree camber, you'll be fine. I have 20x9.5 fronts and 20x10.5 rears high 20 offsets, if I'd have went with 20x9/x10 I'd be good to go, lol...

the rears will dimple due to the screw holder for the black rubber trim. that is single layered while the rest of the quarter panel is double.
