Used the Mother's power ball on my mom's LS over the weekend... Little mother's day gift along with full detail, clay bar and wax. Wanted to show the results of the Mother's power ball product. I've done this before by hand... the drill attachment takes a lot of the muscle out of the process and makes it much easier. I'd recommend it.

that's great man , does that kit come with a sealer to keep them from yellowing in a few months?

They look good. Nothing but keeping a good polish on them will stop it from happening again. It's the UV that breaks the resins down. If you notice on some cheaper cars they will do it much sooner. They use a cheaper material in the plastics. Ford's, Hyundai, Mazdas are really bad about doing this after a couple of years. Look at some F-150's a few years old at the very top and they will be all cloudy.

If you want to do the repair yourself just get some rubbing compound that is pretty gritty. Do it in stages using a finer compound after each step. That's mostly what is in these products.

Helped a neighbor kid with his Tribuon this weekend with the Mother's kit. We found the supplied polish was too fine for his application. We then retreated to using a medium rubbing compound with the drill. That was much faster and better as his headlights were in pretty bad shape. Then finished using the polish in the kit. Then applied Aerospace 303 and followed with wax. Don't be afraid to use rubbing compound, it will not fog your headlights like sanding will.

I used rubbing compound on another vehicle first time around. I think it was turtle was rubbing compound. Took a long time and a lot of muscle...this was so much faster, and yes you can use different abrasive compounds if needed. The kit also had some sanding disks, but we did not touch those. No sealer/wax was included but I followed up with two coats of zymol wax on them and they came out looking like that. Car is garaged mostly so hoping they will last a while...
