Same here. That is what annoys me the most, that bigger Camry look!
But with a few touches here and there you can make the Lexus inside of it stand out a bit more.

I do actually like how the 460 looks, even though it is similar to lesser Lexus and Toyota products. But just as with the 430 in it's day, nobody is looking at the 460 as an exterior design benchmark. With the LS, Lexus has always been playing follow the leader. Even now, the new LS doesn't belong in the same room with the new S-Class, in any category.

Lexus needs to go back to what they do best with the LS. Build a top notch big sedan that is tomb-silent, the perfect ride, living room comfort, unrivaled reliability, and superb interior fit/finish with top quality materials. Stop trying to chase the Germans in styling, horsepower, and outrageous features. Just outclass them with what buyers really want at a cheaper price. Go back to the formula that made the original 400 the talk of the automotive universe.

I miss my 400 at times. Was a fantastic car.

just thought i would put my two cents in. times are changing with the world situation with gas
the 460 with its weight and bigger body probably is a drop better than our 430's with gas mileage,
in my opinion we are all going to have to go thru a paradigm switch for cars with great performance with terrific gas mileage my opinion is pass on 460's keep your 430 till your ready possibly for a lexus with the 2.0 turbo motor just released in the nx, i would bet were 10 months away till you see a es350 or gs with that power plant thats where to invest your money where your cost of ownership will decrease 300 / month on gas if your putting mileage on it
cheers safe driving

100% agree - I think spending money to acquire any car that gets less mpg than an LS430 is a bad plan at this point in time.

If gas mileage is a metric in purchasing a car, you shouldn't even be looking in the big luxo-barge market

That being said, running the same route for months in the 460 as I did in my 430 for years, my 460L got almost 2 mpg less than my 430.
