Hey Everyone! I've been getting busy with my LS.

I got it with 70k miles, basically only oil changes and brakes once upon a time.

So I've replaced the trunk struts, hood struts, engine oil, flushed the transmission, new air filters for the cabin and engine, and a cassate tape aux adapter.

I have a 2001 LS430 with a sunroof and ML audio, it's a total dream boat. I'll probably refresh the suspension next time it needs brakes (hopefully around 150-200k miles) but it's really good now. Everything is in great condition except I can't figure out if the transmission has an appropriate fluid level since the dang dipstick tube is so bendy and hard to get at with the engine on. I'll just do another drain and refill.

Changed oil with Peak Full Synthetic 5w-30 & Motorcraft FL-400S filter.
Installed Fram Sure Drain valve from ebay for future oil changes.

I used a clay bar on the trunk and windows this morning. Then I went to a Mercedes car show this morning.

People were staring hard at my LS430 and my friend's LS400. I had the baddest car there after the exotics left.

It was my mom's... complete detail, carpets cleaned, leather cleaned and conditioned, car washed, clay bar and waxed. Headlights treated for yellowing and then waxed.
Happy Mother's Day... she loves her Lexus... 2001, Gold Base model with 150k miles on it.

You probably don't know him but he bought a green 98 LS400 to flip.

By the way me and Vince traded front grilles yesterday. I'm getting it painted once I get my other custom grille from my paint guy.

I cleaned my leather in the 02 LS430 with Lexol leather cleaner and then used Lexol leather dressing and it looks great. I sprayed some tire shine on my 05's tires.

I should be getting my fogs tinted later today on my 02.

I'm picking up my custom badge-less front grille from my paint guy and giving him my other grille to have it repainted.

I'll be getting the fogs tinted on 02 LS and my SC this coming Sunday along with some other cool surprises.

I wish that were the case. I need some coilovers too.

I also need new wheels for my SC300 though. The new SSR SP4's came out and I may try to get a set.

Installed new trunk struts and upped the tires to 35PSI... It drives better with a little extra air in the tires but I think it depends on what tires you have on your LS.

My key broke on my 02. Luckily my mom was able to bring me the other key. I'll probably get a new one made this weekend.

ouch...I had the plastic case break on mine. Cracked and was wanting to crack more. I purchased new shell from ebay and just swapped over the key and the insides. Good as new.
