Default 2005 LS430 Custom Luxury 62k miles

Just picked up my LS430. Custom Luxury. Came with all of the bells and whistles except for the air suspension, rear seat massage function, and rear AC control. Came with Suede top, Mark Levinson Stereo, nav, parking sensors, dynamic laser cruise, cooled and heated seats, keyless go, and 18" stock chromes.

I wanted to pick up something with low miles with stock options. Last time I was on CL I had a GS300 with aftermarket nav etc. with Work wheels stance drop (coils). Was not the same as JDM/ Original. Then I went with a 3rd gen Acura TL and missed the luxury of a Lexus.

Was thinking between GS350, GS460, LS460 and LS430. After some research the older LS430 had the reliability of my old GS.

I did pay more than what I wished... But for a car serviced at Lexus from day 1 the piece of mind was worth it.

Its great to see some of the folks that I used to see in the 2nd Gen Gs forum upgrading to the LS430..

Howdy: Looks like a score! Nicely outfitted! Great color to me (I have Moonlight Pearl & Crystal white so I'm biased...).
Have fun (you will!)!

I did not know you could get the suede headliner on any models that were not Ultra luxury . I do not see the suede on the sticker anywhere. Was this custom ordered or are there a lot of them out there with suede ?

Very nice. And don't feel bad over the price. Low mileage, well maintained LS430s bring a premium. If you weren't willing to pay their price, someone else would be willing to pay it.

Glad to be back. Thanks for your compliments.

Mikefoxx- Yea I remember you for sure as well. I recall you were going to paint your GS mystic sea opal. I see you are moving on with other ideas. Looking forward to seeing your LS.

Plans for my car... Well I would say the main reason for selling the GS was that it was getting embarrassing driving up to Board meetings in a car designed for someone from Yakuza. But I loved the look. Although the Megans drove well, on long trips my back was killing me. I did put it back to stock before i sold it. This car I plan to keep mostly stock. Hopefully the mod bug doesn't get the best of me... But always modifying cars since I was at the afe driving, it is a hard thing not to do.

UGK- I am pretty sure the suede headliner is stock from Lexus. The person I bought it from is definitely not a guy that would have gotten anything custom.

Congrats! She's a beauty.

The suede headliner came with the CL and UL packages. The CL has the same semi-aniline leather, leather dash and doors, wood/color options etc as the UL does. Lacks the rear seat stuff, air suspension, DRCC etc.

Love the white. Very nice find. I'd have paid up for that too. Clean and low miles

SW13 - DRCC does not distinguish the UL package. A CL could be ordered with the PCS option (in which the DLCC is replaced by DRCC. The same is true of the UL. Both could have either DLCC (w/o PCS) or DRCC (with PCS).

Don't all the ULs have DRCC though? Whether they have PCS or not?

DRCC was not available when the early LS430s were introduced in late 2003. That came a few months later.
