Just had the new Michelin Premier A/s installed on my 04 LS430. As I use winter tires, I had looked at a dedicated summer tire, but decided to give this just introduced model a try, as it has several new technologies which keep its wet road performance high as the tread wears. As I value the smoothness of the LS ride, and since I do not drive at high speeds, I decided on the H rating for additional smoothness. So far, I am very impressed with the tires' quietness and handling around corners at highway speeds compared to my six+ year old set of Michelin MXV4.

My dad just got these put on his accord. I told him to go with the mxv4, not knowing about these new premiers. He got these after the shop informed him that these were the new version of the primacy. My primacies are about half way, and I will strongly consider these. So you give them your stamp of approval on the LS? Are they an upgrade as well as just a replacement? Are they even quieter than the primacy? I'm surprised nobody has commented around here on this tire.

My MXV4's and a set of Hankook Optimo H727's have been my favorite.

I had a set of Premiers installed on my 06 three weeks ago. Absolutely quiet at all speeds and braking. Tire pressure set at 40 psi. Had a set of MXV4's on my LS 400 years ago. The Premiers are a worthy replacement.

The tires do seem quieter than the Michelins MXV previously installed on the car, particularly when driving over expansion joints.I didn't get to make a back to back comparision, however, as I had snow tires on over the winter (Bridgestone WS, two thumbs up!), and never put the old Michelins back on before I had them replaced. They also track very well, and ride quite smoothly. So far, I am happy with the choice. It will be interesting to see how they wear-the tread is noticeably thinner than other tires, but the manufacturer offer a very long tread warranty regardless-60,000 miles I believe.

I always used 33PSI until I recently went to 35PSI... 35PSI seems just about perfect for me and I guess it comes down to personal choice.

35 is also what I run. Over inflation also cause premature suspension wear.

I run 33-34 for past 200k otherwise I get center tire wear and it is too stiff for my tastes.

Tire pressure was reccommended by my Michelin dealer. Will check on any visible tire wear at the first rotation.

I had an '01 LS and traded it in for an '07 LS. Hate the harsh ride so believe it or not, I'm negotiating with a dealer to trade it in for a '04. I had Bridgestone Ecopia tires on my 01 LS. Smoothest ride I have ever experienced in an automobile. Anyone else used the ecopias?

Smooth ride is my #1 priority, irrespective of price, performance or mileage. Alternate suggestions?

The 07 is that harsh? What size wheels do you have? I have the MXV4's on my 04. They are excellent tires as everyone says. The Hankook H727's are nice as well.

The 2007 and later ride on standard 18" wheels. It's a smooth ride as long as I drive on a smooth surface; but when I hit one pothole, it's like driving my SC430

So I might trade it in for this '04 LS I found. With the 17 inch wheels on the '04, there's more sidewall and with the Bridgestone Ecopias, it's a softer sidewall.
