WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors
Howdy:
Love these cars!!!!
So, usually like the windows opened a bit & we smoke a bit & gotta have the windows cracked open. These cars are so sealed, the wind noise is extreme. I've seen these deflectors on Ebay for $115 for all four windows.
Work well?
Look right?
Regular shade or darker tint (ours is '04 Moonlight Pearl (white....) with California tinted windows.
Any advise (besides quit smoking....)?
Thanks, RW

I have had both the weather techs and the AVS vent shades... the weather techs were on a 03 Tahoe and the AVS are on my Nissan Titan... the weather techs didn't have much space between the window and the Shade so poking a cigarette out with the window cracked and not below the shade didn't allow for much room for ashing out the window. The AVS ones I have on the Titan stick out much further so I like the spacing much better. the drawback to the AVS ones is that they adhere with two sided tape to the exterior of the car, versus the weather techs that slip into the window channel. I have been wanting to order vent shades but haven't made up my mind yet either...

Hi:
The WeatherTechs look cleaner then AVS & I like that they are tight to the window (I NEVER flip ashes on the road!!).
They just look better with the slip in fitment and seem to be a higher quality from a reputable firm?
I don't like that AVS double-sided tape approach (I think it looks tacky especially on a LS430...).
Would like to understand this "celsior toyota) thing better?
Thx, Randy

I actually just installed the Celsior ones yesterday which you can see in my build thread. The quality of them are amazing. My friend, who has AVS visors on his, is actually searching for a JDM set now that he saw the quality of mine. It is installed with double sided tape as well as 2 brackets that mount between the weatherstripping and the door.

All cool, you folks are the best! Great advise!
Them Celsior's are sharp, but expensive! I try not to be cheap, especially with this car, but, those were a bit much.....
Ordered the WeatherTechs from Ebay today for $114.95 on my porch.
I'll post photos when I get them loaded up.
Thx. RW

Wow!
Really pleased. WeatherTech light tint, $114.95 on our '04 UL (Ebay, free ship, no tax, oh, but of course, we will claim & pay the appropriate California sales tax on our Income Tax return.......)!
Got em & installed em yesterday. Piece of cake install, but really read the directions in order to get them properly seated so that your fancy windows don't think hang-up on them!
I'll go get a photo or two today.
