Default discovered something interesting today for us guys that like chrome

We had good weather today so I was detailing and waxing the L'S, noticed a small chip of paint missing and what looked to be chrome underneath

Long story short, I took all the paint off to reveal the beautiful chrome underneath.

Does anyone know if maybe the door handles are the same ?

You took all the paint off the entire car and it was chrome underneath?

Sorry guys I'm on my cell phone and it won't let me upload pics. I'm referring to the trim just above the rear license plate. It has a small chrome trim but if u strip the paint off the piece above. It's a beautiful chrome underneath.

Looks great I'll post pics ASAP when I get home

how did you get the paint off? and I wonder why Lexus decided to color match instead? may have been the way it was setup on the assembly before paint application.

The window pillars are a chrome finish underneath. I had some peeling occur on one of the rear pillars and found this out. Currently waiting on my luxury abstract pillars to arrive hopefully any day now.
