So from searches on the forums and on Sewell, it seems that my burnt out LED's on the bottom half of the outside (not trunk-mounted) part of my driver's side taillight can only be fixed by replacing the whole taillight for $200. That seems rather nuts - am I missing a more economical solution to this? What have you guys done when an LED in your taillights fails?

unfortunately thats about right, the 04-06 has full led taillights. once they burn out then the only solution is to get new taillights.

This saddens me greatly. Any trustworthy aftermarket suppliers to where I could avoid spending $200 for a light out?

It does - still a bit much for a bulb, you know what I mean? I just put an offer in on a broken one, we'll see if I can put the best of both together.
