I could not tell what the brand/packaging says on those belts and pulleys.

I don't want anything but OEM parts on my car, and they better be from a Lexus dealer that will stand behind them!

The parts really don't fail. Lexus does not make these parts. They source them from quality manufacturers like Aisin. When buying this kit from a dealer all you are doing is paying them a big markup but if it puts ones mind at ease then I guess it's worth it.

Hello, I have 140,000 on my recently bought 2002 ls 430, and after reading some of the posts, I figured I'd have the timing belt and the other parts replaced. I was quoted $677 to replace tb and water pump, but I wasn't sure if the other parts like the tensioner pulley was included. I no longer work on my vehicles, so exactly what parts should I have replaced? And, like some have mentioned, the Aisin kit is really OEM and good to go?

Actually the Aisin's packaging is much nicer then the Toyota/Lexus packaging

It is REALLY hard to get over the mental skepticism, I just went thru the same thing, I absolutely only want OEM parts on my car.

I can't get over it until I have both the Aisin parts and OEM parts from a dealer to compare them with my own eyes.

I returned the OEM parts

Like I just said, the Aisin's box is actually much nicer then the OEM box
