1UZ and 3UZ oil pans the same?
Can anyone confirm with me that a 1UZ-FE oil pan and a 3UZ-FE oil pan are the same?

Not the same. Oil pan flange shape is different and since cross member is in a slightly different location they have indentations in a different spot.
