Default 06 430 driver seat padding

I am looking for the part number for the front seat padding. I recall seeing it mentioned in a post sometime back but I can't seem to find it. The leather on my now 8 year old 430 is showing signs that the padding has lost some of its thickness and the leather has several wrinkles where it used to be taught.

You sure that might not be because leather has "formed" or "stretched" to your body contours? Sometimes the leather with wear stretched and will become baggy even though the foam is ok. 2 cars ive notice this alot with is the Hyundai Genesis sedans and the LS 01-06 models.

sjohnson83 did this to his 359K mile LS 430, and warminwisc also had his seats rebuilt with oem padding. Try to PM one of them, or go to Sewell Lexus Parts to search for what you need, exactly.

I just had my seat foam rebuilt with extra foamat a ground up resto shop, and he took some leather out of the lower seat deck to tighten it up. 150 bucks I felt was fine and it did not effect the poor seat heaters. He also bolstered up the sides for more lateral support.

Thank you for your response. Having the seat leather stretched is probably what I need to have done. Now I just need to find a resto shop.

Here is another link

$196 for the cushion. This is done for restoration of comfort. I'm thinking about getting one myself. Sounds like a good investment.

I might get it replace too. My seat has killed me ever since i bought the car! Ive had it worked on a few times and it made it worse....i need to start over with a new OEM pad. I can't tell from all the part numbers which one is for the seat back padding replacement?

hmm looking at the diagram it almost looks like the cover and seat back padding are not sold separately. I have only head of people replacing the bottom pad. You need to do both?

I also bought an OEM replacement cushion lower but have yet to install it... One way to evaluate if yours is worn out is to sit in passenger seat and assess any differences (mine was blatent, I think the previous owner must have been of a larger stature). I suppose if you want to save the $200 you could possibly swap out the passenger and drivers cushions (someone check, but I think they are universal)? Of course that means pulling both seats... I wish I could do that for the leather seat covers on mine as well since drivers side is tired and I don't think anyone has ever sat in the passenger seat of this car it is so fresh, but then I would have a hole where the passenger seat controls are for driver to operate on the left upper bolster... oh well.

I plan to install mine this spring when things warm up... not expecting it to be too hard. You'll also need hog ring pliers and rings I believe to finish the install of seat cover (some have gotten by re-using the old ones and some needle nose pliers possibly if you don't want to buy the tools, but they are inexpensive so I would).

Let's see some pics of whomever does this first posted to the DIY!

Price in cart is $190.26 and shipping charge is $5 for flat rate shipping... need to enter "CL5" for coupon code and select free shipping option to match above quoted deal... that threw me off at first.
