Many thanks guys for your inputs and diagrams Have not had a chance to tighten up everything yet. Try to hit it this weekend before moving on with troubleshooting. Did raise car to hi mode and heard compressor running and saw car rise but did not take car for a spin to see if car still has rumbing/clunking sound with car on hi-mode, would think that that would rule out the shocks.
The journey continues.

Hello everyone, and I too have the issue of bumping noise when going over bumps or making slow turns in my 2002 ls 430. I bought it months ago, and didn't pay close enough attention to several issues. I was blinded by just getting a chance to have this particular color and car. Yeah, immature, and I got to pay now. What I hoped to see is prices; no one mentioned repairing the bushings and lower arm. I live in Las Vegas, and I think I know of a shop, cause doing it myself is out. I had many of my tools stolen when I moved a year ago. Also, I'm not that handy repairing a car. thanks in advance for any info.

Not from Lexus, look at the diagram of the lower arm. Bushing is preinstalled and not available as an individual part.

When we're talking about a part this important to the ride and handling I'm only going genuine parts.

Just had to replace one of these this week.

Default Growl

I too have a growl. I notice it changes with steering load. Much worse turning left noise wise. Car drives and rides great, noise is getting worse.

Start a new thread and you'll maybe get more replies .... Or get someone to check your wheel bearing as this is your problem.

You're welcome, 😀
