My break wear light alert comes on intermittently. I took the right front and right rear wheels off and inspected the sensors there is some indication of wear on the front sensor but non on the rear. Do I need to replace both sensors or can I replace he front sensor only? (2001 LS 430)

I would only replace the sensor that is worn. I'd like to know how far your pads can wear before contact is made with the sensor..

Changing the pads on the LS is far too easy to let the pads wear down until contact with the sensor.
