Nav retrofit into non-nav LS? Also ML question
I am looking to trade up to a newer LS and the car that I am most interested in is an 04 sans nav.
Is it possible to retrofit or would the entire set of speakers need upgrading as well?
I did a nav retrofit on my BMW but it was plug and play; that car had no upgraded audio system so aside from a few splices things were easy.
Also, what's the word on the ML woofer? I know 430's I've looked at before have and have not had issues.
The 02 I drove last weekend had a bad one and I'm worried about the cost of replacement but can almost justify due to the superior performance over OEM; just curious about replacements.
TIA

not possible to retrofit... not one successful retrofit (thanks toyota for making this hard for 'garage geniuses'.)
ML subwoofer is the only way to go if you want to save your 2k ML amplifier. Anything else will burn it.

Didn't think so. Thanks for the help! I may stick with nav optioned 01-03 vs non nav 04+ but I am definitely going back in forth. In the end, like all things, its all about the $!
