unless we need to haul something or want the convertible on a cool sunny morning, the LS is our drive of choice for around town and for road trips. Comfortable, solid and very safe. Gas mileage is actually quite good considering size and weight and since we drive the LS less than 10k miles a year mpg is irrelevant.

I went from a Civic to ls400; no more sore body. Went from the ls400 to Highlander; pretty comfy, but really bad gas mileage. Now back home to ls430 which is cushy and gets reasonable gas mileage [everything is relative]. I commute 70 miles rt, and wouldn't dream of driving anything else. I'm an old lady and I deserve it. Even if you aren't old, you deserve it. LOL!

I used my LS as a DD for the past 3.5 yrs and it was flawless. I got it back when I was finishing up undergrad and have used it up to now in med school. There is no garaged parking or any pampering aspects for a car there and it starts up in the nastiest of winters without a hiccup and runs like a charm! It is just such a nice and refined car to drive, and so reliable to top it off, the perfect DD in my mind!

An overwhelming YES on the LS as a daily driver.

Im gonna try to work out aparking scnenario for my SC, but if not I will have no worries about putting it for sale.

Thanks again

I just bought a 04 LS430 beginning of September and I daily drive from MD to Washington DC. Car is great with 80,000 miles and I average 21 MPG. Pretty sweet for a V8.

Don't sell the SC! You'll regret it later on....

Unless you throw the 20"s on and lower the LS. Then you'll forget the SC even existed.

It's killing me to see the odometer shooting up so high on mine. It took me over four years to put 20,000 miles on my SC300. At the rate I'm going I'll do that in half the time with the LS.

.
lmao kira, I swore id never part with my SC, it still has relatively low mileage at around 115 000miles.

But yea that's exactly what I was planning to do , re-lip the auto coutures and get them on the LS.

The sizing would be 10.5 in the front and probably 11 in the rear, im just so worried about fender mods on this car, I don't want to ruin it

I have the same mileage on my SC. Everyone tells me to get rid of it and put the money into the LS...

10.5 would be pretty hard up front. You could pull off 10" up front and 11" in the rear. My friend Whazzzzuup went with that setup and all he had to do was shave the rear fenders. He didn't mess with the fronts.

Large brakes, fast for passing, a plethora of airbags, precollison on a 4 plus ton vehicle fairly good MPG's DD for sure. As the years pass buy and you can pick up a decent LS for 12-13k these things are a Toyota value versus other used auto's.

Auto up windows, puddle lights, telescoping seat deck, 20 way seats, etc make it sure a comfortable ride

guys how do I find out if mine is UL or CL or whatever the packages are?

Hope these interior pics help, I have no champagne cooler in the back, still trying to figure out what features it has.

So far it has self adjusting mirrors on reverse, working GPS, Marfk levinson sound system, and seems to be that's about it.

I don't see air suspension or touch auto shift,,,i was told I have reverse camera but so far haven't been able to see it, I was also told I have built in rear blinds.

??

It appears you have the CL (Custom Luxury) package. Enjoy!
