Default Android phone issues

So I got a new LG G2, supposedly the best of the new Android phones...I thought it was fine until I paired it with my old skool 2004 LS...it took one call fine and then it started to royally mess up! Are new phones just not compatible with old BT systems? Does this mean I need a new car? I really like my LS. Does the new iPhone 5S work with the LS430??

I've used a Galaxy Note 2 with my bluetooth and haven't had any trouble. Maybe it depends on the phone.

I would assume the iPhone 5 works since the older ones do but I've never tested one myself.

GS2 and wife's BBZ10 are fine. Connects all the time. One thing with the LS BT, you have to select the phone to connect to. So, if you have 4 phones paired, it would not search for all 4 phones to see which is near. It searches only for say phone 3 if that is what is currently selected.

yah, my phone has no problem connecting. It can make one call ok. Then when I start to get incoming calls the nav screen would switch to BT with the name and number of the person calling but when I went to answer it on the nav screen it routed to my phone. Then we didn't get connected and it kept showing he was calling back on the nav screen but nothing was happening. it was really really buggy
