Default Ride comfort

How is the ride comfort between the 17" & 18" wheels?
Also, what is changed with the sport suspension option and does it take away the smooth ride?

Answers...
1. it's different...more firmer...in a word, more 'sporty'
2. the suspension has changed.
3. and yes, the ride is not as smooth and floaty..if you will.

OK... couldn't help myself... lol....
Others can chime in with real answers...

My LS had 18's and I sold them and ride on 17's and I enjoy the ride much more.

The reason : 17 inch tires have more air in them, so absolutely they do ride smoother.

While the performance capability of the car has probably decreased, I have not had to change the way I drive the car.

Even going from a 40mm sidewall to a 45mm on the 18's I had on my LS400 was a noticeable change in comfort. The sidewall is where most of the comfort comes into play. I have a set of beautiful chrome 19's I picked up earlier this year on Craigslist for a great deal but now I'm hesitant because I don't want to ruin the ride.
