LS430 wheel and suspension upgrades-need help
Gang,
I need some help from the VIP crowd. I want to purchase some Vossen CV4's and would like to go with a square set up so I can enjoy the significant concave look at all 4 corners. Below is a picture of a car that is identical ( even same color) to what I'm trying to achieve. It's wearing 20X10.5 wheels but I do not know the offsets nor do I know whether any metal had to be bent, cut, rolled, or shaved. I would prefer not to do any of that if I can avoid it. Additionally, when the next airbag goes out on my UL, I'm abandoning the stock air suspension and replacing them coilovers. I would like to hear suggestion from everyone which coilovers to go with considering I have no desire to slam it down (wife still has to run kids to practices and make it thru a bank drive-thru without tearing it up) or bend any metal. Furthermore, I am coming off the luxoboat feel of the UL so I don't wanna feel like I'm going into a corner roasting, buck boarding track machine. Somewhere in between would be ok. Lastly, I believe my upper control arm bushings have expired. I'm finding control arms on eBay for about 160.00 a pair but I have two concerns: are these up to grade with OEM's that are twice as expensive and there are notations on some of these that they are for the Sport suspension. Are there different part numbers for UL versus ML versus CL?
