Default What did they use?????

Hi All,
It has been 5 month since I have purchased this '05 ls 430 (cypress green) with 25k miles and I have never driven a smoother car in my life. The car has been washed (without soap) with high pressure water for more than half a dozen times since then but one amazing thing is water still beads down the body and windows (and that is the reason why I do not want to use soap yet). I am sure the previous owner had it detailed by professionals before it was handed over to me but does any out there who wants to guess what might been used to have the shine and luster last for so long??? I am sure it is not a regular wax....I am dying to find out for my new car, 2012 Prius V doesn't even come close even after good cleanin/ waxing..

Thanks.

Maybe it's Nu Finish?

Reviews say it doesn't provide the deepest shine, but lasts the longest. I've applied it a month ago (04 LS430) and waiting to see how long it lasts.

Maybe it's a heavy duty sealant like Collinite? I know that stuff lasts a long time. Maybe one of the guys from the Detailing forum can chime in on it.

Funny that you mentioned NuFinish. That's what I have used on Prius V and didn't last long at all.
