How do you lock your car?
Just curious how people lock their door.
For me (2005 LS430), I use:
Door lock switch: 5% of the time.
FOB: 10%
Button on outside door handle: 85%

Have never used the key for anything. Door button 100% of the time. I even forget to leave the key in the car when I have a dealer appointment for service. They have to remind me. Can't imagine why anyone would fumble around for the key.

I always use the door handle in the daytime. At night, I'll initially lock it with the handle then press the fob to turn off the lights as i walk away. If I'm in a rush sometimes I forget altogether

With my 2003 LS 430:
Unlocking:
1. Key: 40% (I do this almost every time I am approaching the car by myself, and need access to the driver's door first. Why? B/c I've had locks on other cars get a little 'stiff' after very little use, so I'm trying to keep everything working properly. I also use the key 30% of the time for the trunk.)
2. FOB: 60% (If I'm approaching the car in the rain, need access to a different door than the driver's door first [I hate that there are no other key holes!], or if someone is with me--so that there is no waiting for that person.)
Locking:
1. Manually moving door lock itself on the inside, affecting just the driver's door: 95% of the time.
2. Electronic door lock switch on the inside that affects all 4 doors: 4.9% of the time.
3. FOB: 0.1%
