3M makes a great product. Check your local vehicle codes before a big expense though. I know the front and rear glass need to be 15% or less in Cali (I'm going from memory - if you know better go for it)

The rear doors and rear window tint can be as dark as you want. The front windows cant have tint at all per CHP in CA. But I still have my tint on the front of my other cars. I am planning to get limo 5% on all windows but the front windshield on my LS when i pick it up in the next few weeks.

Where I'm at, 35% is the legal limit, but I usually get my vehicles done at 20% and it's never been a problem. The only time you get hassled is if you have "limo" tint, which I don't care for anyway.

Check your local state laws, because I think California it's illegal to have ANY tint on the front windows (which is ridiculous, but it's California)

Default 3m color stable 35%

is what i have on my ls430 and it looks great. i am the one that started the post and cant figure out how to upload pictures, i think i am a trial membership or something. the 3m color stable is a good all around tint especially for silver and black cars, my car looks fantastic. the a/c has been feeling great with the less strain on it with heat in the car. for everyones fyi the 3m color stable product 35% i believe is a 39% tint for light so its the one to choose for peace of mind for tinting if you dont want to spend the money on ceramic. g5t tint shop for you californians is a great place ricky runs a tight business they are in alahambra for all looking for a picky installation.
all the best driving to all
