Fortune Auto 500 Series coilover review
whats up guys, i'm new on the site and just picked up an 04 LS430 a couple weeks ago. I can't stand driving any car at factory hight and this car was no exception so i ordered my coilovers as soon as i possibly could. I got them from some friends at Freed Engineering in Gambrills, MD and had them drop shipped to my house (very quick might i add). you can get any spring rate you desire between 5k and 12k but if you don't specify im pretty sure they will send you 12k/8k. i chose a 10k rate up front and 8k rear because i daily drive mine and it was important for me to stay relatively comfortable. There's a few other custom options you can choose from if you want such as Swift Spring upgrade, roller bearings, and helper springs - i only got the roller bearing upgrade because it was cheap and ensured a nice and smooth steering feel.
i am currently riding on the lowest setting up front and 3/4 down on the rear. you can see i the picture that there is no finger gap up front and tucking a little tire in the rear. i LOVE how this thing rides. with the springs preloaded correctly up front, the upper control arm very seldom hits the strut tower over bumps unless its a gnarly bridge buckle or pothole. I seriously couldn't be happier with my choice and for the price you really can't beat it. build quality is killer and everything is serviceable in the US too. i would recommend these to anyone looking for some new coilovers for their LS430.

Looks sharp! Thanks for your post. I am looking at converting my UL to coilovers in the near future and had looked at Fortune Auto also. Any reason you picked these over any other brand?
