Default ML Sub Rattle 04 LS430

I know there is a DIY for this already here and i have read them. I just want to get clarification for a question. My sub rattles and to get to it I have read you need to remove 4tabs with a screwdriver I think. When I look in my back deck I only see one raised speaker grill in the middle. I don't see an easy way to remove the grill and I don't want to tear anything up. Can someone help explain what I need to do to remove the grill and get to the sub woofer? Thanks

Wrong. Just pull it up. But that way you won't reach subwoofer. You'll just have a look at it.... Read the stickies.

Before I tried the correct fix, new speaker, I pulled the grill up and applied silicone all around the edge.
After waiting 24 hours the buzz was gone. It is still OK after a couple of months although I purchased a new speaker and it is waiting till it is needed.
You can get to it to apply silicone or inspect it by pulling up the grill.
The real fix will involve a lot more work.

Once the cover is removed following the steps described here does that get you to the point to conduct the hot glue gun repair? Also it sounds like I just need to pry the cover off with a screw driver? I really want to fix this the right way if there is a way better than another.

The hot glue or silicone is a temp fix.
Yes you can get to it with the grill off.
The correct and more permanent fix is replace the speaker and it will involve more work but there are threads here explaining how to do it with pictures.
