Default Wheels

To all:

My 2004 LS430 curerntly has the OEM 18" wheels...245/45/18 on 7.5" rim with 45 offset. I'm thinking of getting Roderick RW3's....

Looking at the following options:

Front: 245/35/19 8.5" 40 degree offset or 255/40/19 8.5" 40 degree offset
Rear: 275/30/19 9.5" 45 degree offset

or

Front: 245/30 or 35/20 8.5"40 degree offset
Rear: 275/30/20 9.5" 45 degree offset.

My concerns are:

1. ) are 255's too big for the front?

2.) staggering....or should I just go with one size front and back?

3.) will there be a problem with 275's in back. I don't want to do any body work and I'm not doing air ride or lift kits or anything like that.

4.) are the offsets ok....I keep reading about our funky front brake calipers.

5.) If I go to larger Brembo brakes later on...forsee any issues with the new size wheels??

6.) these wheels will only be on car from April thru September as I live in New England.

thanks! John

I'm assuming you're trying to keep as much of your ride quality as possible? But in any case, those 255/40's will be too tall though up front. If you're not into stretch and want something with a decent sidewall, you may just want to run a 245/35 and 275/30. I/m actually running a 20x9 +36 with 245/30's and 20x10 +44 with 285/25's and I don't rub. My rear quarter panels are shaved though. Those wheels aren't overly aggressive, so it's unlikely that you will have issues with rubbing.

thanks for the comment....I would like to keep the ride quality as comparable to how it currently is.
