Headlight Giving off Strange Color????

Hi- had my front left HID headlight bulb replaced 2 years ago. All of a sudden i noticed the bulb is giving off a pink colored glow/light. Called the dealership and they said they never have seen or heard of this before. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks.
