Default Weird rattle located in the shifter

There is a weird noise/rattle located within the flexible plastic filler that covers the space where the transmission shift is. I know that is the incorrect name for it. Any ideas on how I can rid myself of this annoying rattle?

Not quite what you describe but you'll need to know how to remove the bezel at some point.
