does any one kno where the antenna is located. for the past couple of weeks ive been havin problems w my nav(being in a compleaty diffenrent state when im home or drivng in the ocean).

I apologize. I did not see your location - Saudi Arabia. Yes, the navigation antenna is at the top of the dash for LS430's sold in the "Gulf States".

It's hard to reach blue box. You will need to remove multi-display to access it.

window tint is lossy, essentially a space resistor, about 35 ohms (in parallel with 377 ohms of free space, roughly 6 dB loss). With the GPS located as shown on US based LS430's, under the back window, you will have worse performance if you tint your back window. FM antennas on any back or side window will be degraded with window tint too.
I'm an antenna engineer and tested window tint purchased from KMart at work.

Non-metallized tints will allow radio frequencies to pass through the windows. I have FormulaOne Pinnacle 15 tint, no problems with GPS reception or AM/FM/cell phone reception.
