I am so stupid. I wanted to see if the speaker on the rear package shelf (drivers side) next to the sub woofer was working because I could not hear anything coming from it. So I pull off the grille/cover and break one of the tabs off the cover only to learn there is no speaker there at all. I read up on this site and now learned it is to the rear air purification system. I cleverly re-built the damaged clip and re-attached the grille after learning the replacement cover is $135. Looks great, tight as can be. Only question is about the little piece of plastic that got lost in there. I do not hear it rattling around (very small) but does anyone know how I can retrieve it? I am concerned that it may eventually make it's way down to the blower motor and cause a problem/noise or do you think it will just settle into a ridge somewhere in the duct and never be a problem and I should just forget about it. Please advise. Thanks.

Take out the filter for the rear A/C in the trunk. It probably fell into there and got stuck.

vacuum? lift the grill and use a heavy duty shop vac?
