I have 142,000 on my 2002 LS 430. Still bulletproof and no major issues other than routine service. Plan to keep for a long time even though it is no longer my DD.

I have a 03 that just this morning hit 162,000... Thats pretty high for a Hawaii car but previous owner lived in Florida and shipped it here... I bought it last year with 151,000 miles

Lexus Test Driver
Update: 359k miles. Drivers seat foam changed with oem replacement, center armrest padding re-stuffed so leather is not taut. upper control arms, balljoints, rack bushings, and tie rod ends changed. this rides like new. No squeaks or rattles - tight as a drum. unbelievable!!

Good stuff! Where did you get the OEM foam pad for the driver's seat? I had mine replaced by a (usually pretty good) local car upholstere but the results were not so good. Still kind of flat.
Thanks!

2006 Still Ticking
188K
Timing belt, battery, brakes, wheel bearings, trans fluid, rear diff. fluid, brake fluid. 19" rims get bent easily I've discovered. First owner wrecked all four. I bought the car with 90K on the clock. Black on Black.

As I posted above mine is sold at 197k for a new 04 at 62k. Now a month on the new LS I feel the new LS has noticably more power, noticably shifts smoother/softer and the suspension is tighter though I have 18's now sport suspension. So if anyone is curiouse the dropoff in performance at 200k as you would suspect there for sure is some even on this overengineered car.
Having said that the old LS still shifts as smooth as most cars hoped to, has a great deal of power and pep and glad i did not pay to change the shocks/struts as they where not leaking and suspension and handling was still good, all in retrospect. It used no oil at 200k.
My only regret I could not keep 2 one for my winter car as the winters are hard on em even with all the aluminum and undercarriage covers. I have always felt as much as I wanted to drive er to see the mileage I could get 200k is alot of miles. I am glad a got a newer crisper one, but surely could have lived with the old one happily with no payment. I would have had to fix the flashin AFS light and 3 parking sensors though the rattle at start up on really hot days would bug me every time I started it, anyone else get an upper end rattle at start up on older LS's? Respectfully, Warm

Same here... Same question - I guess I should read to the bottom of this thread since he might have answer your question :-)
