Hey guys, first post in the LS430 forums. I previously owned an '01 GS300 which I recently sold to come over to the darkside . In any case, last night I just picked up an '02 LS430, Silver on Black, 68k miles, Ultra Lux for $17,500. Normally, I wouldn't buy a car that's already been modded, but I couldn't resist this one, as it's in pretty nice shape, and has a bunch of the goodies that I would've ended up buying anyways. I'll be swapping in some different wheels right off the bat, and making other changes to make this car a little more my own. I was only looking for about a month or so and found this one locally here in Hawaii. I look forward to learning more about the car and everything it can do.

*** Haha, woke up this morning and was supposed to go to the gym......ended up sitting in the car for 30 minutes and playing around with all the cool UL stuff. This car is awesome!

On these cars that are from snow states, do you guys notice any extra rust on parts (nuts, bolts, etc.) on the undercarriage? Much of the LS's underside is enclosed for aerodynamic purposes, so that should help protect the car from snow and salt. I have purchased cheaper cars, PT/Cruiser, Scion xB, from Chicagoland and every single part of the underside of these cars that was susceptible to corrosion was rusty.
