Default 1st super luxury unexpected repair in 170k

Slow leak from a nail. Yota dealer.. wash vac top off fluids, plug, on the house. Oh what a feeling. Wonder how many BMW or Audi folks can say this?

Terrible! How can you stand that kind of unreliability and uncaring dealer service? You must be ready to trade for something better. I noticed three brands stood out in the recent JD Power results: Mini, Smart, and Fiat. Maybe you can consider one of those.

You must be a regular customer at the Toyota dealership. I don't think you went in off the streets and they did a favor for you. Good to see nice "neighborhood" service from a dealership (albeit Toyota)... and some neighborhood services places act like dealerships...

Heh, I traded in my '05 Mercedes for my 2GS, and it only had 77k miles, yet I spent thousands of dollars in maintanence and repairs over only 2 years of ownership. This was at an independent shop too, not the stealership. That mostly influenced my decision to switch to a Lexus. My LS430 has been great thus far. 115k miles and runs like new.

Yes the 3 inch nail was taped to the servie order like a dog digging something up from the backyard as all they see me for is oil every 5-6 k (often I drive 35 k a year lately), brakes, belts all scheduled stuff. I am sure they like my LS sliding in amongst the Corollas and Yaris'. They have 2 master Lexus techs so I feel cared for and I would think they want me rack up 200k plus.

BMW or Audi folks think it is a miracles when their cars don't need any repair in the 1st 17k miles. That is so hilarious.

93k on my LS430 now, zero unexpected repair. It feels as good as my friend's Benz S-Class at 33k miles.

Oh one of the fog light bulb burned out on my SC430 at 55k miles, I was shocked even that happened, I couldn't believe it. I had a Celica for 20 years that not a single original light bulb burned out, the quality must have gone down..........lol
