Default Datasystems HELP!!!

Here is my system controller. This is going on a 04-06 model LS430. Am i missing a piece where the red circle is? Is there supose to be a harness on that location? After reading the writeup that AIRTIME posted, he talks about extending that wire 4-5 feet to the drivers side. What does this connect to? Please help, im looking to get this installed tonight if possible. car will be going in for a fender cut and suspension arm installs. Thanks guys

It can be installed without that (I did it) all that other wire does from my research was connect to the speed sensor, which it doesn't override so I just figured why waste my time, lol. I didn't think I needed to see how fast I was going on the ASC. I think that's all it does though, allows you to read the speed on the controller. There is noharness or anything just have to an smaller gauge wire from Home Depot or Lowes and hook it up, but that is what'll make the install ridiculous, and go from 15 minute install to a couple of hours, due to items having to be removed. That's just me, and like I said from my research....since nobody else chimed in, lol.

That's correct...I never hooked mine up either. Just connect the main inline harness and you're set. I can install one now in 5 minutes.

So sorry for the late reply. Looks like you got your answer. I've been riding my motorcycle for a while and haven't even touch my LS in about 1/2 year now. What a waste sitting pretty in the garage.

Anyhow, the wire is a speed sensor and I did hook mine up and I do get the reading on the controller, but its in kilometer I hooked mine up at the time as no one else had an answer to why not. At first the logic was that it may override the automatic lowering of the vehicle 60mph as you may not want the car to go any lower than your setting but it does not and still does lower in any case.
