Default driver seat heater

my drivers side seat heating function if not working.....when i turn the switch to ventilation it works but when i switch it over to heat, nothing happens. I would like to know if any of you have any trouble shooting tactics to diagnose this problem or fix it before I got to the lexus dealership and bend over!

if yours is cpo?they will replace the seat,if not dont go to the dealer, they will charge you so much money it will make your knees knock.go to auto apolstery shop and have them do it.you just need to make shore the switch works and if it does its your seat heater.lexus would have your seat delivered to a apolstry shop anyway and charge you.to check the switch you will need to swap the switch plugs with the passenger seat and try it

My problem with the passenger seat heater malfunction is with the switch on the '06 ES330. The heater stays on even after the dial is turned back to neutral between the cool and heat. But when I press hard on the panel at the base of the retractable switch, it goes off again. Sometimes it comes on again by itself, but if I press the panel again, it goes off. This leads me to suspect it's the switch itself that's the problem. I'm sure if I open that up, I may find the switch loose. Hopefully, I can reset it.

your switch has a short.i would remove it and inspect it.if it looks good put a new switch in there.
