Default Older model LS wheels?

Question guys. Will a older model LS 400's (91-00) Original Factory Wheels fit on a 2002 Lexus LS 430. Just wondering.

yes, the LS400 wheels will bolt right onto an LS430. However, the LS400 wheels are a sightly narrower wheel ( 7 inches wide ) , with a slightly higher offset ( +50 )

Only 90-94 LS400 wheels will not fit an LS430 - only the 95-00 fit and they are the same size as the standard early LS430 16 wheel -- 7 inches wide.

Here you can see my LS '01 on 16" from LS400 '99.

Fits with no problems. Reason ? I had new winter tires 16" and want to use them.

Kansas, is there a way to visually tell the difference between 90-94 LS400 wheels and the 95-00 wheels ? I am trying to find / buy a set that fit my LS430, and I don't want to buy the earlier ones that wont fit.

( often sellers have no idea which model LS their wheels are from. )

Thanks.

Lexus LS (90-94) had smaller brake caliper then LS (95-). I tried to fit wheels of LS 92 to LS 99 - it was not possible to install wheels. I hope it is clear now..

It is easy if you know what the OEM wheels for each LS400 series looks like. The 90-93 LS400 wheels have 14 spokes and are "directional"; the 93-94 standard wheels have 9 spokes; 95-97 standard wheels have 10 spokes, the 97 Coach Edition and 98-00 standard wheels have 5 spokes and the 2000 LS400 Platinum Series wheel is the same 7-spoke wheel that was standard on the 01 LS430.

Whew ... I think I got that right. You might want to look at photos on the Internet or at photos on one of the parts websites to be sure.

If a seller doesn't know which year LS wheels are from then just move on. It's common for sleazy sellers to feign ignorance just to get rid of stuff.

'95-'06 LS wheels will fit on all the OEM 4 piston front calipers interchangeably. So you are fine.
