Default Steel Wheels on my LS

http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-rim...ck%20Flat.html

Thinking about buying these steel wheels for my LS. Im not into those fancy chrome ones. Does anyone think I can get these around town? I see a lot of people with these wheels on their cars. I wonder where they get them from though

I highly doubt you will find any steel wheels anywhere that will fit over the front brake calipers on the LS430 ....

Just say no to steelies on a LS. Find some nice painted silver factory or aftermarket wheels that fit the brakes - and fit the look of the car.

Thank God they wouldnt fit any way. My heart would hurt so much just knowing there was an LS somewhere out there driving around out there with those on them.

Let's just chill out here, lol ..... I'd run black steel wheels with snow tires in the winter before I'd put chrome wheels on my car in the summer !

You guys are right now that I'm really thinking about it. But it seems like I can't find factory wheels for the LS anywhere. I've tried ebay and junk yards. Me personally I really don't like giving my credit card info online anywhere.

I kept an eye on Craigslist and found a set of winter wheels locally from an 01 LS430. They turned out to be aftermarket, but when there he mentioned that he had the original wheels in boxes in the basement. Jackpot!

Yes, they are very hard to find, and when you do find them, they are all banged up, and the seller wants $ 900 - $1,200 and the wheels have old winter tires, you may or may not want.

I tried all winter to find some used OEM LS wheels, and never found a decent set for a reasonable price, so I am probably buying some new wheels in the spring, unless something used pops up locally.

My best advise to you is to go to a tire shop that knows what they are doing, and tell them its an LS430 with large front brakes - and see what they can offer you that will fit.

good luck

You are so right. I think my best bet until I find somebody selling some is to just ride around to the wheel shops in town and see what they have to offer. I really dont want nothing fancy at all. All I want is basic wheels. I never thought I would go through this with some wheels smh.

I would also consider oem wheels off a different lexus model that might fit like the newer GS or IS. I would think that the brake caliper size should be close to the same.
