Talking Putting together my LS430 UL

*** UPDATE ONE PAGE 2***

Well me and my wife picked this up about 2 weeks ago. The price was good for the low miles, clean interior and the UL package IMO. The car should be around 56500 miles right now so its sitting very nice. Im in Afghanistan right now so my wife is enjoying it without me but im enjoying buying car parts . The vehicle was completely stock when we purchased it but the mods are coming. Everything works flawlessly on the vehicle so im happy with that. Pics will be posted as the parts are put on...

When she got home... unmolested LS430

Megan rear control arms for some camber for the wider than normal tires... have heard some negative about these arms but i will definitely try them out

Been a Lexus owner for the last 5.5 years and im looking to not waste any time on this car. My sc300 is still under the knife but its coming along. Hope to meet some of you guys soon being stationed in Fort Hood Texas. Stay tuned for more pics =)

Congrats and definitely keep those pics coming. From the pics of the center console, that is definitely a UL. How's your wife at turning wrenches? Heck, she could get it all done while you're still deployed.

Yea im out here doing what i can. Fortunately im not in a bad area so its working but things can change in an instant. Especially with all this pakistan stuff going on. Keeping my eyes peeled though.

Yea i was leaning towards a supra but i found this and its exactly what i want so i couldnt pass it up. It will be done soon and on its way to the TX meets Ill be using your Datasystems install write up so the shop isnt lost in the sauce =)

very very nice. congratz to your purchase ! i got the same one black on black ul model 2005.
trafficstars gna look great with teh drop. you can also consider getting ss kit lowering blocks to drop it another inch or to have the stock air less stress on the bags. but ride does get stiffer because the roll center is lower.

congratz on all those goodies you have grabbed

Well i called down to Megan racing yesterday and talked to their tech Arjay who wasnt 100% sure about how camber the arms would give me. I couldnt buy them without knowing the min and max but instead he went and measured them for the min and max length. Stock LS430 arms are 446 i believe. He measured these to...

Min-435
Max-485

Looks like there is a lot of play on the adjustment for those looking for more camber. These should be in within a week.

the offsets are +30f +35r. Im running it to get a lil bigger tire under the rear. My wife will be driving the car too and i rather her be safer with a tire that isnt stretched too much. Gotta think about her first. I also want to stay away from fender puling. Ima see how close i can get the tire to the fender so i know some adjusting will work instead of the natural camber the wheels are going to give when the car is lowered.

Data Systems controller made it there today so next is to send the wheels on to get the clear and the black paint stripped and redone. Im not a fan of black wheels at all. Anyone got suggestions on tires.... 255/35, 265/35, 265/30? Gonna pull the trigger on the wheels and the tires all in one shot and see if my local discount tire will mount them. Thanks guys
