Default Here is something rare -

A 2004 LS430 UL with 5k miles. No affiliation. But getting one of these with just 5023 miles on the clock would be pretty cool.

I'm not trying to be a downer, but there are times that super low mileage cars are not necessarily well maintained cars. Very little mileage over an extensive period of time if not serviced properly can be negative. That being said........It sure sounds as close to new as any LS430 can be!

wow that sure is a nice find....but not at $28,900. The 04 Ultra with normal mileage ( 70-80k) is only worth about $19k-$20k according to dealer galves value. Add a few thousand for the lack of mileage sure....but not an extra 50% of galves dealer value.

the driver seat and center armrest do not look like they should on a 5k mile car.....one thing that I would definately focus on. My driver seat was spotless and wrinkle free at 15k miles when I got my LS.

Looks like a possibility of roll back odometer fraud, I was just reading about that a couple days ago and they say it's relatively easy to do. But outside is in good condition

Roll-back a 7 year car to almost nothing? That doesn't make sense as it would be so obvious - to good to be true usually is. I doubt its rolled back. I'm sure it happens but who would be so blatant about it to cause suspicion? Easy to understand someone having a car in a second home and never really using it. Nice find!

It certainly could be a roll back and it pays to be extremely careful when something seems to good to be true. As noted above the interior wear can be telling. However seat stretching can occur in just a few months if the driver is sufficiently large. These cars attract some really big people that need a large interior just to fit in a car.

As an example of too good to be true - there is an 08 SC430 in DFW area that is being sold with about 8k miles on it. I test drove it a couple of weeks ago, its dirty and worn inside, and has been on sale at a good price for over a month - that usually tells the story.

Back to the LS UL, this car's carfax report dates and Lexus service history data, could be used to corroborate and verify the mileage based on whats in the reports. My guess is that it is an actual garage queen. I personally think the asking price is about right if the car is 5k miles AND in mint condition and has been garaged. If its been outside for a few years it will have significant exterior as well as interior deterioration and should not be priced as such. I would think it if its the real deal, it will get snapped up in the next few days maybe sooner.

wow rare indeed - I would be concerned somewhat of the low mileage but a solid test drive should let you know what you are really dealing with for sure. and being a UL put's the cherry on top.

I would offer 24k tops given that all is well - hmmmm...I have been looking to get my wife a LS as well..
