Wife's 05 LS. Picture shown is one I found on the net.

Obviously, someone pushed this small drawer/box in with too much force. Now it's recessed about 1/8" to 1/4" and will not open when pressed. I can get it open with a small screwdriver. I cannot figure out how to remove it. I am hoping, if I can get it out, to be able to repair it. Any help would be appreciated.

Do a search in the LS430 forum for threads containing the word vaistech in the title. There are a number of illustrated threads showing how to remove the center stack components in order to install the Vaistech unit.
